MY INVESTING JOURNEY?
Hey Guys, Ben here from Motivation 2 invest.
Since I began documenting my Investing Journey online, I found the response from YOU GUYS to have been INCREDIBLE!
So Firstly, I just want to say THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart for the AMAZING SUPPORT of the Motivation 2 invest movement.
Whether you were one of our loyal Viewers Watching our Impactful Youtube channel, which has helped over 4.3 Million People with Investing education like yourself on their journey to financial freedom! Or if you were on our Engaged Instagram community which is currently impacting 1.2 million people per month, I just want to say THANK YOU!
Now I was once in a similar situation to yourself, I worked hard & followed all the “rules” society told me worked to become successful, happy & fulfilled in life.
I went to University, Studied Electrical & Electronic Engineering, worked hard many late nights in the library & was finally awarded a 1st class degree (which really made my parents proud & also shocked them a little!)
Then I went onto a great corporate job in London as a Digital Consultant/Design Engineer working in the heart of Finance, Canary Wharf!
Walking past big investment banks like JP Morgan daily inspired me & perhaps buried something in my sub conscious….
This was actually a really great career and I was even doing exciting project work for MICROSOFT!
(Although I didn’t get a chance to meet Bill Gates!)
THE LIGHTBULB MOMENT WHICH CHANGED MY LIFE!
Now although i did enjoy my career I felt like I was hitting a ceiling! I was running on a treadmill, running faster & faster but didn’t seem to be getting the rewards! I didn’t get to see my family as much as I would like & my girlfriend at the time was at the opposite end of the country which really did add pressure to the situation! Also I had aspirations to travel the world & experience all life has to offer!
That is when I realised it, wasn’t just me, who felt “frustrated” with the idea of working for someone else for 60 years then dying!
It may sound morbid but it’s true! Then I had an Epiphany, THE EDUCATION SYSTEM IS BROKEN!
WE ARE TAUGHT HOW TO WORK FOR MONEY, BUT NOT HOW TO MAKE MONEY WORK FOR US!
This epiphany led me to realise if you truly want to become successful in life YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO INVEST LIKE THE BEST!
YOU won’t learn this any university or college!

This lightbulb moment lit a fire under me to study all the investing greats & become a CONTINUOUS LEARNING MACHINE!
